Invitation from the Conference Chair

On behalf of the Association of Heads of Independent School of Australia (AHISA), I would like to invite you to come together in Sydney for the AHISA Leading, Learning and Caring (LLC) Conference, to be held 8-10 April 2024.

The LLC 2024 Conference Committee is confident that our conference will provide vibrant networking opportunities for delegates, exhibitors and sponsors. It is also a wonderful opportunity for delegates to learn from peers and view products and services from a range of businesses supporting the education sector.

Schools and their communities are a beacon of light and hope amid a world of uncertainty and volatility. As leaders in schools, we need to cultivate this hope and foster curiosity, optimism and resilience in our students and staff. It is about leading with a clarity of purpose and direction and knowing that when we work closely and positively with our staff, students, parents, and community we can make the greatest difference. There are no simple solutions, and we cannot predict the future, but we can ensure that we stay current, be open to innovation and embrace adaptivity.

The AHISA “Vision in Volatility” Conference with its focus on how schools can prepare for a dynamic and complex future, showcases keynote presentations that will provoke thought about how we can flourish and continue to grow despite the volatility and workshops that will provide practical and inspiring strategies and ideas.
