Sustainability: The New Learning Economy
1330-1430

The emergence of digital technologies, new business models and high levels of digital literacy in our well-connected society have created an opportunity-rich environment. However, the dominating focus of the education sector tends to be on protecting the regulated core and addressing identified risks and problems. This interactive keynote aims to empower you by shifting established thinking patterns. Driven by the need to address three learning disorders, the notion of an ambidextrous school will be introduced. Related experiences at QUT and various examples from applied research projects within and beyond the sector will make the recommendations tangible.
