Beth has been CEO for AHISA since 2016. Her connection with the independent sector follows 30 years as a teacher of History and Psychology, and 19 years as Principal of Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC), a K–12 independent day and boarding school for girls with enrolments of 1200 students in Perth, Western Australia (1997 – 2015). Areas of professional interest and initiatives have been the education of indigenous students, International Baccalaureate programs, positive psychology, technology as an educational tool and women’s leadership.

Anne has been with AHISA since 2012. She started out in research using her science background before taking up a senior management position in investment banking for seven years. Anne then became a marketing manager for a peak state-based tourism association. At AHISA, Anne attends to the operational activities and administration of the association including governance and compliance issues, membership process and records, board meetings and election processes, and supervision of AHISA’s website, database, and mailing lists.

Kira manages the national conferences for AHISA as well as the forums and roadshows which travel from state to state. She previously worked at the National Conference Centre in Canberra and has a passion for delivering valuable and enjoyable event experiences for our members.

Kate Wilson, Accounts manager

Kate began working with AHISA in January 2006 as office manager. She moved to part-time in 2012 as accounts manager.
Kate’s role includes all aspects of reporting to government agencies as well as working with branch finances.

Jed Rainbow, Communications manager

Jed joined AHISA in 2018 after spending several years raising his two young children to school age.
Previously, he worked as a journalist for The Daily Telegraph in Sydney and for The Independent and the Daily Express in London. Jed has also worked in communications for the Department for Work and Pensions in the UK and for the Murray-Darling Basin Authority in Canberra.

Lyndal Wilson, Researcher

Lyndal began working for AHISA in 2007 as editor of AHISA's journal, Independence. The main focus of her work is now in research and policy analysis. Lyndal has worked in the independent schools sector for 25 years.

Robyn Collins, Independence editor

Robyn is an educational consultant. She is the editor of AHISA's Independence journal and writes monthly articles for aspirant leaders. Her most recent project was completion of a literature review on educational leadership for AHISA.
Before joining AHISA, Robyn was a senior teacher of English, school principal, consultant to Independent Schools Queensland and a Visiting Fellow at Griffith University, Queensland.

Isabella Dodd, Corporate support

Isabella has worked at AHISA part-time since 2015 in the role of corporate support while studying full-time at university. Isabella's duties include the activation and management of membership applications, maintenance of the database, website and email communication channels, the production of the tri-annual Bulletin and various administrative tasks.
