AHISA members enjoy the unique benefits of collegiality, professional learning and influencing education policy and practice. There are a number of different memberships depending on your circumstances.
General membership may be offered to the Head of a school which is a non-government school, is not run for profit and where the Head has the autonomy to determine staffing, curriculum offerings and administration of the school.

Overseas membership may be offered to Heads of schools in other countries, who
would largely qualify for general membership if their school were in Australia.

Honorary members are former members considered by the Board to have made an outstanding contribution to AHISA.

Aspirant members hold senior leadership positions within AHISA schools and have been recommended by the Head as having the potential and aspiration to become leaders of schools.
