This full day program is designed to introduce participants to the knowledge required to oversee financial responsibility of an independent school. John Somerset (Somerset Education) will lead participants through financial papers and the ‘need to know’ imperatives for school management. AHISA National Chair, Rev Chris Ivey will share his experience of that theory in practice, discuss the relationship between a Head and Business Manager (or equivalent) and be available for general questions. Certification is approved for the accrual of 4 hours of mandatory NESA professional learning credits. Participants from states other than NSW may seek to use this certificate to meet requirements within their own jurisdictions.
