Leading Learning: Teacher Professional Development

Supported by funding from the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL), which is funded by the Australian Government, AHISA has produced a series of videos to help members stimulate professional conversations within their leadership teams and among teaching staff.

The videos provide a unique insight into the professional learning practices in three schools, and include interviews with Heads on how they develop and lead the learning and teaching cultures in their schools.

AHISA is grateful to its members David Shepherd of Ballarat Clarendon College VIC, Karen Spiller of St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School QLD and Dr Tim Wright of Shore School NSW for generously inviting us into their schools and participating in the project.

The documentaries were produced using the ClassMovies system and are free to view at AHISA’s ClassMovies portal.
