Leadership Perspective Series

Publishing the wisdom of its members and best practice in members’ schools is a valuable way AHISA contributes to excellence in school leadership in Australia and internationally.

To make the published views of its members more readily accessible, in 2011 AHISA launched the AHISA Leadership Perspectives Series. This online series draws together interviews with Heads or reflections from Heads published in AHISA’s journal, Independence, or gathered for AHISA research projects such as the Leading a Networked School Community project.

1.  Principals as teachers

2.  When a new Head takes over

3.  Building a shared vision

4.  Developing teaching quality

5.  Leading a networked school community

6.  360-degree school leadership appraisal (QLPS)
