School Tours

Take the opportunity to sign up to one of the optional school tours on Sunday 24 September 2023, allowing you insight into what your independent sector colleagues are up to in their schools.

Places on these tours are strictly limited and often book out. Please select the tour you wish to attend when completing your online registration.

Transfers to and from the schools will operate from the Sheraton Grand Mirage on Sunday 24 September, departing 11:00am and arriving back approximately 3.00pm. 

Tour 1


A.B Paterson College

A.B. Paterson College is an independent private school for students from Prep to Year 12. Established in 1991, A. B. Paterson College has developed magnificent facilities, core traditional values, a leading teaching and learning framework, and is now integrating numerous technologies to greater assist and help students learn and connect responsibly with their world. Most recently, the College has opened The Winton Centre, which provides a unique learning space for our students.


Trinity Lutheran College

Trinity Lutheran College is a Christian co-educational P-12 school, offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. Trinity offers extensive co-curricular programs in sport, the performing arts, outdoor education, service learning and leadership development.  The college is well regarded for its music, drama, dance, rowing and water polo programs. The college embarked on the contemporary learning journey a few years ago and this learning approach is reflected in our Middle Learning Precinct and Senior Learning Precinct on the Ashmore Road campus for Years 6 to 12 students. The state-of-the-art Junior Learning Precinct housing our library, STEM teaching space, Learning Enhancement and Wellness Hub, is opened in Term 2, 2023.

The Southport School
Founded in 1901, The Southport School is an Anglican day and boarding school for boys from Prep to Year 12, with boarding available from Year 7. TSS provides a balanced and holistic approach to boys’ education, including Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence and Thinking Skills. The school boasts magnificent modern facilities including a state-of-the-art Lecture Theatre and 1200-seat Performing Arts Auditorium; IT and library facilities and extensive sporting ovals and facilities.



Emmanuel College
Emmanuel College is a leading co-educational K-12 school situated on the beautiful Gold Coast. Established in 1985, the College offers an exceptional academic and co-curricular program with a particular focus on shaping young people of character. A proudly Christian organisation, the College provides a nurturing and supportive environment for 1700+ (K-12) students within a thriving school community.


Josiah College
Josiah College provides a customised educational program for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). With highly skilled and dedicated staff, the College provides an attractive and safe environment which caters for its students’ unique needs. Opened in 2018, it currently serves 75 students from Years 1-10. Josiah College’s first Year 12 graduating class is expected in 2025 with tailored individual pathways for each student towards university, vocational education or employment.

All Saints Anglican School
All Saints Anglican School is one of Queensland’s leading co-educational day schools for students from Pre Prep to Year 12. Hillcrest Christian College
Hillcrest Christian College is an independent, co-educational school with over 1800 students from Pre-Kindy – Year 12 with one campus for all year levels, located in picturesque Reedy Creek, on the Gold Coast. Somerset College

Established in 1983, Somerset College is an independent, non-denominational Christian school with approximately 1700 students from Pre-prep to Year 12. Somerset College is an International Baccalaureate World School and boasts a range of sporting facilities including sports fields, running track, rock climbing walls, fitness centre and Olympic-size swimming pool, as well as a performing arts centre, and flexible learning spaces in the Knowledge and Information Precinct and Design Centre.



St Andrews Lutheran College

St Andrews provides an excellent E-12 education in a Christian context. The Junior School boasts a highly functional Multi-purpose Hall, Resource Centre, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) room along with modern and flexible classroom learning spaces. The Secondary School houses facilities for music, dance, a 300+ seat Theatre and innovative Business Studies Labs. In 2021, the College saw the construction of the Centre for Creative Industries. This is the home of Visual Art, Wearable Art and Technology, Design, Digital Solutions, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Drones and Film, Television and New Media.
