Religious Discrimination Bill 2019 – Consultation on second exposure draft 

AHISA’s response to the second exposure draft notes that, while two recommendations set out in its submission on the first exposure draft are addressed in the second draft, concern remains regarding clauses in the draft Bill pertaining to employer conduct rules imposed by organisations with an annual turnover of $50 million and over. 

If the clauses are legislated as they stand, the law would differentiate between non-government schools with the same religious ethos and affiliation on grounds of their annual turnover
